6950 Crossfire Blue screen

Thread Starter
Ok guys I have 2 MSI 6950's, unlocked there shaders only and EVERY time I connect the crossfire bridge I get a blue screen when I have logged into windows, it stops when I remove the bridge so crossfire is then disabled.
Shall I put both cards back to 6950 shaders everything at stock and see if crossfire works then?
I have already tried reinstalling the drivers but no luck, very annoying problem.
Thx guys

Yer connecting the bridge when the system is OFF, then booting? Did you check each card individually, for stability before trying them in cfx?

A lot of people like to use specific drivers for CF and not just the latest ones. You might want to try an older version.....

The latest version drivers are the best for new cards since they are being actively updated to improve said cards performance, and cfx profiles.

Not many older versions will work and the 6800/6900 cards seem to work fine. Try switching the cards to their original state first and see if that works. It may just be that one card is unstable or both are if paired together.

Have ulps enabled with an auto clock? Btw, you should disable upls if not already.
