[Windows 7/8] Complete Client v7.3.6 Guide - Page 50

I asked for one. Apparently, the new platform can't handle the amount of REPs I get, so they had to disable it. :(

Is there any way for the client to do the old "-oneunit" every time instead of having to click finish?

I am sure this has prob been asked. But i have the V7 installed on my windows 7 64bit
and I set it up for my cpu and my gpu.
Now my GPU does 1 WU and the pauses.

I saw somewhere some one made them uninstall, reinstall as admin then make the exe always run as admin.
I did that however my GPU finishes and doesnt start a second one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not sure but I don't believe so.

I am running a Nvidia GTX 275 with the latest GeForce 296.10 drivers.
It works great for the one WU, but then finishes and stops.

Try the 290.53 beta drivers. The 295 WHQL ones had an issue with it putting the card to sleep after finishing one WU, and it looks like the 296 WHQL might have that issue as well.

+Rep i did this and reinstalled FaH again and it started a second WU.

However now it fails during the second one. Now i just have to dig in the log to see what is going on

Thanks thumb.gif

Found this bit of tidbit I will try tonight:

WiSK Said: Was your monitor on standby when that happened? Put it on always-on in Windows and then switch off manually when afk. According to foldingforum that's the solution to failing 803x WUs with nvidia 295 release.

if you switched back to 290.53 then they don't have that problem of putting the card to sleep with the monitor. I would've recommended the no monitor sleep 'fix' but I'm not confident in it working 100% of the time yet, just don't have enough info to say that it works all the time. If you are still getting failed work units then look at the log and let us know what the error is because it might be an unstable overclock or something.
