[Windows 7/8] Complete Client v7.3.6 Guide - Page 56

Just helped another member out with a v7 issue.

A unit wouldn't upload and in the log you could see repeated attempts to connect to 0.0.0.0:80 and 0.0.0.0:8080.

Turns out somehow the checkbox to use a Proxy was enabled, but there was no info entered so it just kept failing.

Just one more issue that isn't as clear to fix as you would like it to be.

For my laptop (pending heat is not an issue) should I do SMP + GPU or one vs. the other? GPU has 96 cuda cores, i5 2410m.

Heyo, you will probably not be able to be helped unless you include more details or photos of said issues. Post the log files or summaries of the GPU trying to work and I am sure that will help those in the know figure it out and help you.

My advice would be to just fold on SMP because even if your GPU is able to do any folding it will also borrow some of your limited SMP power.

SMP FTW

fyi, im pissed my GPU gtx460 got some weird 2 day project only giving me a crappy 5.6k points ***s! hah

Does 2100ish PPD for a 2410m seem kinda low, or is it just me? Doing WU 7903 and taking 18 minutes TPF.

*Edit It is up to nearly 4000 now, just had to leave it alone and stop browsing lol.

IDK where to share a possible complaint but my client basically did nothing for an hour luckily I was still here to reset it I finished a 8013 project on my SMP and picked up a 7015 project and waited an hour and it did nothing.

1. NO warnings or anything of the sort just sat there.
2. So I paused and restarted it 2x before just pausing it again and closing the entire program then force closing one of the processes.
3. Reopened the program and the project finally started yippy

7015 - 1.40TPF, credit around 4354 and PPD at a yummy 36k-44k avgs so far if only i could get these instead of the 8xxxs smile.gif and not have them stall my program for an hour

I have 2 screenshots in case i need to submit the project to any mod or something again there were no warnings or errors so idk howmuch help but it stalled for an hour is all i know for sure.

I'm trying to add remote clients to my main rig so that I can monitor them from here (they're all over the house).

On the remote machines I went to configure them locally and setup all the pertinent things (password, port, allowed IP) and I made new clients on my main rig and put in the IP addresses, port and password of the remote machines. So they all show up in my Client list on my main machine but the remote ones just hang at the "Connecting" status and they never go to "online".

I also tried to add them to HFM.NET to monitor but it never makes the connection either.

Can anyone help?

I followed the guide and the CPU started Folding, but according to this it's been stuck at 0% for like 20 minutes...

379

Also it says both GTX680's are running but they are at 0% GPU Usage...

What am I doing wrong?
