[Windows 7/8] Complete Client v7.3.6 Guide - Page 63

Thank you so much for this guide and hooking me up with HFM.

Great guide! Thanks smile.gif

I'm not sure what common flags I should use for my Coe 2 Quad... I'm guessing bigadv would be overkill?

Thanks a lot for the guide!
Swag directed me here, and it is an excellent guide.

I had some errors coming up with BOINC - I was thus wondering:
How can I check that it is doing its job properly?
I know the "logs" section shows warnings and errors -> is that the only way to tell?

I am 24hr p95 stable on my OC, but just in case there's something that needs adjusting to be 100% stable for folding, I'll be glad to do it

More so for:
"7) Finally, head to Edit> Preferences> Web Settings. By default, this is set to the info of the developer of HFM. To set it to your own info, search for your username on EOC (link here). The number at the end of the URL is your ID. Your user ID is your Folding name, and the team number is 37726."

In post 2.
I can't find my EOC ID - I think that is because I have to wait a few days for it to refresh - like it did for BOINC - correct?

It took about a day and a half or EoC to have anything at all on me, so you'd be correct in your assumption. thumb.gif

Right an update:
EOC thing worked and that it is now registering my points:
http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=631070
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=Totallydubbed

I got a BSOD last time whilst I was running it - so I'm trying to solve that.
However, for folding terms should I be joining a team or something within OCN? And if so - why?

I would just worry about getting that BSOD sorted out and then decide if the OCN team competition is something you are interested in, but here's more information about the TC.

ah ha - it is a team competition.
I'll read into it.

Yeah as for the BSOD - I've been talking to a good friend on OCN - Swag. Who he himself folds too.

I'm definitely not one to leave it go unnoticed, thus I'm looking to fix it.
Best way to "test it" is to let it fold, and see if it fails.
As P95 didn't fail for 24hrs, neither did any gaming/rendering for over 2-3 months.

Hi there again!

I'm now trying to fold on my mum's PC - got it running and everything - however I'm curious as to why the viewer is black and not colourful like my own pc?
Also the ETA is unknown and the percentage isn't moving.

There's no errors or warnings as of yet.
Percentage is moving 0.24%. Its a big slow WU...
