Onlive Hardware specs??

Thread Starter
i sold my gaming computer a few months ago and had to do without real gaming. All I have is a ratty 3 year old laptop although it plays lego starwars and lego Indiana Jones quite well... hard times.

SO i decided to give this Onlive thingy a and try I must say.. its not half bad, took a step further and hooked my laptop up to my TV room plasma with a wireless Keyboard/Mouse and I am impressed, The games play about medium/high graphics settings (low AA and AF or course) and rarely suffer from ping stutter, all said and done, Ill declare Onlive a success.

So ive been wondering, Did the company ever annouce the the hardware that they use to run their games?

Do they use AMD or Intel? Nvidia or ATI? would be interesting to know biggrin.gif

They have different servers with different hardware.
Quote:
According to Perlman, OnLive's lowest-end server resource offers twice the GPU performance of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

So that's roughly equal to an 8800GT.

I tried Onlive... Didn't like it as my connection wasn't fast enough to make the IQ enjoyable and I have 10mbps.
