They're all the same. What matters is if you are going to overclock or not.
If you're going to overclock, get the 920 (make sure it's a D0 not a C0 revision). If 920s aren't available to you, grab a 950. If you want Right out of the box, get the 960.

They all have different stock multipliers, so higher stock clocks.

What I've heard though is that the higher up chips were higher binned.

I'm not saying it's true, just what I've heard.

Well for price/performance ratio and overclock potential i would say 920 and of course, as has been mentioned, D0 stepping.

Out of curiosity what CPU do you have currently?

I have a 920, and I can get a stable 4.4 OC at 1.45 vcore. You can't get much higher than that with any of those chips, no matter how much vcore you pump into it. 4.6-4.7 is about the highest I've ever seen, but at that point, it's just overkill. If you're gonna overclock, definitely go with the 920. Ive had mine for over a year, and been nothing but happy with it. I plan on keeping it another couple years too.

Currently running Phenom II x2 550 BE @ 3.6Ghz. Just wondering if a 920 is the way to go or go SB?

Edit: when I say sb I mean 2500k

If you're gonna overclock...SB is pretty killer on the overclocks. Otherwise, any of these chips is just as good if you dont OC.

Yes I'm going to overclock whatever platform I go for. The PC will be used for gaming mainly with some video editing too. I just know those 8 theads are going to be a big help when it comes to video encoding, also I'm going to get a performance increese with gaming over my x2. I just think X58 is the way to go atm as far as pricing as I could get an Asus ROG board for about the same price as an asus p8p67 pro.

Final thoughts?
