Swiftech Apogee GTZ question

Thread Starter
Reading the installation instructions, I'm told to screw the four screws until they all bottom out. Two of them can go all the way just with my fingers. The other two are being stubborn, even with a screwdriver. I'm wondering how much will my performance be affected if I don't get all four screws all the way in? Possibly another question is did I do something wrong?

kind of sounds like it... but it's really not that hard... as long as you have the backplate right side up, lined up straight, and carefully tighten the screws in a gradual crisscross fashion, they all should bite thread nicely.

sounds like you put in on crooked and stripped the threads OR that or you got a defective backplate.. I've read that they are kind of cheap sometimes, but mine is OK. If you take the screws in and out a lot the thin metal threads sometimes rip out and then it wont catch.

call swiftech i'm sure they'll make it right no questions asked
