That is an excellent choice for a heatsink fan. Great balance of airflow, static pressure, and noise. All you should hear at full blast is air moving.
Yeah the oc scene isnt that big in our country imo, there are some superstars but thats it, guess im lucky on the other hand getting water cooling stuff(the good stuff) over here sucks...Totally offtopic but something i tend to irritate on lol.

Hopefully itll look good ill post some pics 2morrow when the mailman comes also ordered a nzxt 24x led sleeve kit for my window on CM 690 Advanced II Nvidia. Gonna sleeve it behind cant even see my stuff inside now lol.

p.s. the price here in EU was 11 euro a piece on the Scythe GT AP-14 1450rpm.

So today i got the fans in and ive put them on the v6 gt. I've ran a quick 10x IBT on standard. Its running on my i5-2500k @ 4.3ghz turbo

Idle 30-32c.
Stressed at 77c.

Last time I tried with the v6 GT fans on I got to 82c stressed. Though 10 runs is really short ill try a 20run and maybe a couple of hours prime95. Just to see if the temps are really ok.

Sound is very good , i can hear them but its not annoying. This was my main reason for buying them lol.

Heres a pic with the Scythe GT-AP14's on the V6 GT:

Not too flashy but I like it
What do you think?

The aesthetics are excellent. I love the white blades with the black frame.

I am concerned about you load temps. There should not be a 9*C difference between cores at load. This would indicate that the cooler is not seated properly or the TIM is not spread evenly. I would suggest a remount.

i took that screen right after the test when it was still going down.

Reseating that V6 GT would be a pain in the ass....but i guess ill try one more time.

The first core is only has the big difference under load. The 2nd,3rd and 4th are around 7 to 9c hotter. Strange?

20x IBT run on Standard

p.s. blades are grey but flash was on phonecam

*EDIT Read somewhere that its normale for Core 0 to be this much off on Sandy Bridge?

I've got a very similar setup, however I'm using 2 Cooler Master Sycleflow R4 fans and am getting 63c max temp running prime 95 @ 4.8Ghz (2500k). As far as noise, I'm using a HAF X case and have all the fans loaded (again all Cooler Master products) and there is a faint fan humm at 2-3 feet away.
