How does the tuner work btw? I'm in the market for one myself.
Havent opened it yet in case I need to return yet another card.

yeah 95C made my eyes jump out of my head. And that was after a single run...

Possible I got a dud as far as cooling goes? Just seems nuts. there shouldn't be a single difference in the hardware/cooling of a reference galaxy 570 vs a reference evga 570 right? Why are my temps so high and clocks so low?

Not exactly like I have poor airflow either. An antec 902 rocking all the fans with good cable management...

Guess it's been a while since I had an External exhaust video card. I had forgotten how important cool air is to bring into the case.

I cleaned all the intake fan dust filters...

Card just completed a Heaven bench at 900/1925 @ 1.088v topping at 73C. THAT'S little more normal. had some artifacting but it completed.

Dust covered fan filters = 20C difference? Holy crap.

I was just gonna say if you like modded games, the extra vram on the 570 is definitely worth it. I've been playing CoP Complete mod lately, and I tap out the vram on my 470's at 1920x1200 after awhile of playing and FPS drops to like 25% of what it starts out at. I have to drop textures one notch to get the issue to go away.

This is at 1920x1200 but personally I think 1GB is too little for either 1920 res if you're into modded games (and I'd guess Skyrim will be a vram hog if past Bethesda games are any indication).

But I see you already went for the 570 ... good call. Galaxy is a good brand IMO although I've not owned one of their gfx cards, I would ...

UPDATE: So far the tuner works great. It's really cool to have OTA TV on my PC. Its really pushing me to get that second monitor lol. Im pretty satisfied, now that i cleaned out my case which fixed my temps, and I got this 570 for $12 more than the 560 plus the free Tuner.

Windows 7 built in media center with DVR and TV guide is AWESOME!

Ive had a galaxy gtx 460 768 for 3 months now and i have had no problems at all,it came "galaxy clocked" at 710mhz core,i oced it to 880! and played crysis and metro 2033 with no artifacts or tearing and it still idles at 32c and under full load about 50c, it runs all my games maxed at 1900x1080,but im gona need more v ram very soon,bc i cant run metro 2033 maxed at 1900x1080 i get like 20 fps,but thats the only game i have to turn down my res for and when i turn it down i get 30-50 fps, which is fine for me,awesome game...

Im very happy with this card and galaxy, and its not nearly as loud as my old pny 9800gt,and i use the msi after burner on screen vram display and i never max it out my v ram at 1900x1080 xcept for metro 2033,oh and galaxy just recently changed there oc policy,u can now oc them and they still honer the warrenty, sorry for long post guys...

No apologies necessary! Do you have a link to something where it shows Galaxy honors OC'ed cards with their warranty?

Also, when i was playing DA2 using a gtx 560 it used less vram than the gtx 570 with the SAME SETTINGS. So there must be some limiter built in that stops the game from maxxing vram constantly if you have less vram on the card? Now with all the settings 100% maxed on DA2 It uses 1100mb vram at 1920x1080... woah.

Happy you're having a good experience with your galaxy!

Galaxy requires a purchase receipt to consider an RMA. Not an issue if you have it, but I learned that the hard way. Personally, I steer clear of them just for that (as well as the 570 I "would have" rma'd died after 2 months at stock).
