You may want to consider a Hitachi drive over the Seagate.
They drop like dead flies these days (I'm on my second Momentus 5400.6 in my laptop, and that's dying too - what with my babying it and not moving it at all whilst in use).

'Sides, Hitachi drives last forever despite being slow. They used to suck in the past but are great nowadays.

I've replaced 3 Hitachi drives from laptops just this week, not convinced lol

Also, I went with WD Blue Hard Drives

Western Digital has 2nd least failure rates behind Maxtor, but I doubt Maxtor still exists so go with WD. I bought a 640gb Samsung drive for my laptop and it's working fine and dandy for 8 months now.

I have been using WD drives for quite sometime now, have had only one faulty one, but it was due to my own fault of drunkenly dropping my laptop tongue.gif
