Cool. Now we just need more members from L.A. or surrounding area to join in. biggrin.gif Maybe we can even do a group-buy or something.. like they have over at Geekhack.

Since I might be taking a trip to Southeast Asia soon (no date yet).

You can buy direct from here. Just shoot them an email and they'll send you quote with shipping and after that if you don't mind the shipping charges (usually to US it's around $45 - $50 via EMS depending on weight), tell them that you're ok with the price and they'll send you an invoice via PayPal and you just pay them. PayPal will convert from US dollars to Japanese Yen using the exchange rate for that day.

The shipping is from Tokyo and if you're in US, it'll take like a few days (2 - 3 days). The email link is in the company/support tab and the contact name is Bambi (that's her real name). Good luck and let us know if you decide to go for it. Oh and take some pictures.. lots of pictures. tongue.gif

Also I'm not sure if EK will get a full size w/ red switches. You can also email and ask Brian. It may take a few days but he'll get back to you.

Okay, thank you very much for your reply! (+rep ofc smile.gif)
I'll shoot them a mail wink.gif
If I receive keyboard I'll post pictures in this topic and tell my first impressions wink.gif

(Cherry MX Red > Blue for gaming/typing I assume? Heard many people who loved the red switches over blue after trying them both, anyone has experience with them here? tongue.gif)

^ Np and thanks for the rep. tongue.gif

As for the comparison, I have both boards (one with blue and one with red switches). I believe it's just a matter of preferences. Red is more like black (linear) but lighter so if you rest your fingers on the keys even just a tiny bit, you get stuff like thissssssssssssssssssss.

Personally I like linear switches (black & red), brown comes in close second but that's only for when I to type up some long documents, etc.
