For me, Filco wins but not by a wide margin. Leopold still has its perks here and there (detachable USB cord, lower price point, etc).

PM sent.

Get Filco if you don't mind the higher price tag.

I have personally compared the Leopold mx brown and Filco mx brown side by side and the Filco actually feels much more crisp to type on.

@TwoCable that's what I've heard as well.

So the difference is quite noticeable? (Starting to doubt more every day the longer I read these topics )

Does anyone know where I can order a Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless Chery MX Red? I saw Armygroup but the english version is out of stock there apparantly (when I tried to add it to basket some chinese error message popped up and with other products it didn't).

After about a month of use my initial impressions still stand. It is rather loud (clacky loud) and stiffer than what I was expecting for cherry browns.

The squeaky space bar problem is also quite annoying. It seems to have gotten better on some keys (shift, enter) but is still bad on backspace and space bar in particular.

The flip up feet have no rubber stoppers, so it tends to slide around when it's propped up. I just always use it in the down position.

For the price though they are just minor imperfections. Btw, anyone know where I can get blank windows keys replacements? I don't like the bubble ones on the otaku.

These? $3.50 for a pair, you can't beat that price but they're not blank.

The difference is fairly noticeable when being compared side by side. IMO, I can definitely say that the Leopold DOES feel mushier.

So if you would have to choose and add a few bucks for a Filco instead of a Leopold would you do it? (Is the difference in price worth the difference in crisp-ness?)

Yeah I'm looking for blank black ones specifically to match the rest of the keys on the otaku leo.

I would say yes. If I were to do it over again I would pay $140 for the same filco vs $110 for the leo.
