First impression of Leopold FC200RT/AB - Page 21

I would say that it is definitely worth the extra $20-$30. From my experience the Filco literally feels more precise and well built because of the crisper keys. Aesthetically, the Filco tenkeyless is just a BIT smaller than the Leopold and has less-rounded corners than the Leopold, which in my opinion looks better. It also might be worth mentioning that the keycaps on the Filco are slightly bigger than the Leopold keycaps. One advantage that I really like about the Leopold is the detachable cord which I think is pretty nifty for portability.

Overall, the Filco does feel like the better keyboard and is a worthy investment in the long run.\\

Edit- NVM about the different sized keycaps. They are the same

Can't find a Filco tenkeyless with red keys on stock anywhere for a decent price Guess I'll just gotta go with a Leopold full-size Red or tenkeyless blue. (anyone here used both blue and red?)

Leopold keycaps are smaller? Mind taking a picture of that?

Anyone has any idea of the quality of a Ducky DK9000G2 Cherry MX Red switch keyboard compared to red filco's & leopolds?

Are you sure?

People once posted here that the Filco Lavendar WASD keys were bigger than the black ones.

Optical Illusion.

This is how you check:

Yeah I haven't flaked out or anything, it's just that I really haven't gotten the chance to getting pictures. I still have a broken spacebar and my brother has my keyboard right now trying to fix it.

Both are Filco keycaps in your picture right? When I placed my Leopold and Filco side by side I could see that the surface of the Filco's WERE larger. Both keyboards had black keycaps so I don't think it's an optical illusion. I promise that I will come up with my own pictures to confirm if this is true though.

Actually nvm you were right ripster. Sorry for having doubted you . I think the blank keys vs the lettered keys played another optical illusion on me..

Crappy iPhone pictures because I didn't have my camera:

Thanks for confirming.

I won't do my "I told you so dance".

That would be tacky.
