As everyone has said yes its glossy plastic where you put your hand. The sides are rubberized. It's not too bad of a material to hang on to. I don't have a problem with it.

Well idk thats pretty much the one thing the DA has over this mouse is the material that you are putting your hand on. The DA has this slightly rubberized stuff on it that makes it grippy and a bit moisture wicking at the same time so its not as nasty feeling if my hands happen to be sweaty or something. The texture is pleasant to hold.

The 2 mice are not crazy different, for everything else i would get the Ikari but then the material the DA has is big enough of a deal breaker where it would keep me from getting it. Unless maybe i could find some kind of adhesive at the hardware store that i could put on the mouse as to mimmick the DA material.

yeah im talking about the rubbery stuff on the razer deathadder. If theres some kind of adhesive material i could put on the top of the ikari that felt better i would get the ikari because otherwise i find it be the better mouse

Personally I think these mouse making companies should just get wise and coat all of their mice in this rubbery material by default, but then they should also stop using ****ty sensors like the Philips Twineye.
