HT question for AMD 5200+ Windsor

Thread Starter
I'm trying to get the most out of my system I've managed to get 3.3Ghz out of it with max multiplier, I never really messed with the HT settings in bios, and I dabled a little in my memory settings, I've adjusted the timings. Whats best to go for a high multiplier or a bigger FSB(and is high bandwidth better then clock speed) heres my CPU at default settings

Another question I have is how to get my RAM to run at full speed, in CPUZ in heres my settings, shows the ram is at 371Mhz, tho the ram supports 1600 by am2+ cpu, I only have a AM2 so I should atleast get 800mhz out of it right?

My last question is what can I do to get the most of out this setup and for it to perform stable, because I can't afford a new CPU and my new GTX 460 is being bottlenecked, I have had to flip the cmos switch 3 times now because I failed at reducing multiplier to increase FSB, any help, advice, tips would be nice thanks.

Dual channel 371mhz x2=742mhz Maybe check your bios if your running lower than you would like.

Checking now, Should I set it to 800mhz and enable clock to all dimms?(not really sure how to increase RAM speed)
Should I do anything with the HT settings also?
Kinda read I should keep my RAM low to increase FSB, there a ratio for stability or performance?

Ram is directly linked to fsb. Raising it raises your ram speed, lowering your initial ram speed would let you increase your fsb without your ram going past it's stable clock. Always work on 1 thing a a time or you'll be chasing yourself all day.

Ok so if I Raise FSB for RAM speed, how could I raise FSB without ram going past stable clock, I'm confused but I'm starting to get it.
Does HT have anything to do with this?
Is there a way to figure out if the bus speed I find is past the stable OC,
there like some math anyone can do lol?
Lets say I want the perfect FSB that gives my RAM best speed while maintaining a decent clock with whatever multiplier, how would I go about doing this.

Did some tweaking, stepped my FSB up and lowered my RAM timings

Going to do some testing tommarow and post results

Here are a couple of guides to help you understand http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...ocket-am2.html and about your memory settings here http://www.overclock.net/amd-memory/...explained.html

Good luck
