Can someone explain this for me?

Thread Starter
I set my HT link x8 multiplier and I have the other thing at 240.
Why does Cpu-z say that my NB frequency is at 1920 when my NB is at 2400?
I'm supposed to keep the HT link closest to 2000 as possible right?

Well, what is your FSB and your NB multiplier set at? 8*240=1920

You might have forgotten to set the NB mutli to 10x. Ht mutli at 8x is fine but NB and Ht are separate settings. In Cpu-id, the NB freq. is on the Memory page, so you might be getting confused.
