More likely to be hijacked than leaked.

Watch, its going to get released and its going to be a reworked OSX. Then Microsoft will be like "lolololololololololololol u g07 7r011'd b*****5!!!!!!!

Just to confirm:

The winver screenshots from the very first post are fake. However, the Milestone 3 build installation shots are genuine as is the desktop shots showing the internal Microsoft wallpaper and confidential desktop watermark message which is present in all M1/M2 and M3builds.

Windows 8 in its current state is pretty much Windows 7 with a few minor changes here and there, the OS also behaves and performs just like Windows 7 at this point in time. As with early Windows 7 builds the new future UI is locked/hidden from the standard user (standard user meaning not an authorised Microsoft employee or dev) The only UI change is the introduction of the Aero Lite visual style which does not have glass but can run under the DWM engine for the same transition effects.

Milestone 3 build 7971 has made its way to some OEM's via a private Microsoft Connect programme. (6.2.7971.0.winmain_win8m3.110324-1900) It is available in x86 and x64 with a handful of additional language packs too.

The last known compiled build confirmed is 6.2.7972.0.110328-1838 (I don't have any confirmation on 6.2.7973.0.110329 yet)

If it had a better GUI than OS X, it'd be far better than Windows 7, UNIX based > Windows by far in terms of OS design.

Wait, version 6.2.7972.0.110328-1838? Isn't 7 6.1.xxxx? I hope they go up to version 7, that'd at least have some major changes unlike Vista to 7 which was pretty much a new GUI and a different name.

It can still be said as BSOD. Crafty. I can't wait for the (a?) public beta, I would love to play with Windows 8 already.

Same style UI? I like it then lol. I don't see anything too special.

Agreeed. Keep it simple and less intrusive and end users will be less aggrivated.
