Which to choose?

I have a 6Gv2 and I tried out the BlackWidow in a couple of stores and there isn't a comparison. The SteelSeries 6Gv2 is built like a tank. I recommend you getting the SteelSeries.

I don't really like the look of the Blackwidow. Just because of the fact it has a shiny finish to it. Which can make it get really dirty and smudge marks. The 6V2G looks basic and clean which I prefer. Plus I saw a video on youtube of someone having a problem with the space bar and right alt which sometimes when he pressed the space bar it would press the right alt in as well.

I would go for whatever is cheaper, however if you prefer lights and stuff go for blackwidow, if not get the 6GV2.

If NKRO is important to you, then go with the 6Gv2.
Even through USB, you'll be able to press more keys, than the black widow. It has no problem typing "the quick brown fox jumps right over the lazy dog" with Caps Lock + Scroll Lock + Both Shift keys, even through USB.
Even in theory its a much higher quality product - with Razers quality control, in practice, its a no brainer.

A Logitech G15v1 can type that too with no problem. (the G15v2 can because Logitech did a change of the matrix layout)

Both the G15s are 2KRO.

Where did the G15 come from? Either way, the black widow more than likely won't be able to type it - thats 3-4 modifiers pressed at the same time.. Every Razer I know of can hardly deal with both Shift keys depressed at once.

I've had a 6gv2 for about a week. Totally love it. Love the smooth keys. Its debatable as to whether its accurately priced for its value but all i know is gaming (and typing) is much more enjoyable on this kb as opposed to my standard dell kb.
