Tried it at 1.27 and windows froze up completely after around 30 seconds in LinX, no errors, just a freeze ( reset button didnt even work ) had to hold power button for 5 secs etc.

Just keep playing around with voltages. I'm convinced you can do it with less! It really depends on the errors you get (when you BSoD). If it's not blue screening, drop the QPI/VTT voltage a bit and try again. You need those error codes to know which direction to push.

Had a message to try 20x200, what's your opinion on that?

Also QPI/VTT = QPI/DRAM Core Voltage?

I'm not much of a fan of BCLK overclocking, mainly because of the strain on the QPI system. At a minimum of 7200MT/s it's a serious strain on your IMC. Regardless, having an unlocked multiplier allows you to play around. You might as well give it a shot! I used to run at 25x until I solved the throttling on my board. Went to 31x and never looked back. I've heard a lot about some killer clocks at 200MHz BCLK too, so just experiment and see what your rig has to say.

I'm running at 20x200 now to see what results it gave and so far so good, currently on 59/500 runs on LinX, so i'll see what happens after this, it's a case of trial and error really, see what works and what doesn't and then meet somewhere in the middle! as time consuming this is, it's rather addictive I have to say...

I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying it. So many people purchase extreme chips and totally miss the fun in unlocked multipliers. From my personal experience, higher BCLKs tend to lessen the strain on the CPU core while increasing it on the IMC. You may find that you can lower the Vcore with this configuration. With such a high BCLK you may also benefit by playing around with the CPU PLL and IOH voltages.

Ok so i'm still stable and the temps look ok (25 mins in and temps topping at 67~) is this thing ok to leave over night?

it's not gonna screw anything up if it freezes and hangs like that for a few hours until I wake up?

EDIT - Ha, just as I posted that, I got an error with LinX, but how do i know what the error was?

Depends on how quickly the error shows up. I find that if the error was within the first few minutes, it tends to mean your Vcore is too low. If it happened after the first few minutes that means your QPI/VTT needs one bump up. Move your voltages real slowly now that you're close. I've tried to find a consistency in the residuals after an error, but it seems much safer to count the time instead.

It happened around the 30 minute mark, so bump up QPI/DRAM by 1? ( I guess VTT is the same as that?)

Yep! You might also try bumping down your Vcore one notch at the same time. I find that if it passes the 20 minute mark, your Vcore can come down.
