Shift 2 Unleashed controller and keyboard delay

Thread Starter
So I got meself Shift 2 and can not enjoy the game. I have a hard time trying to figure out the control lag/delay. I tried different controllers but won't fix the problem. Whenever I turn, change camera, throttle, brake etc. while in-game it takes about say half a second before the action occurs. Same thing with keyboard but abit worse. I am using an xbox 360 controller and ps3 btw. Then I started up dirt 2 and no delay at all! Somebody having the same problem? I tried different video cards nVidia 460 and AMD 6870 but no difference. Help?

Let's make this a single separate thread Post your findings here, both things that aren't right and ways to solve issues.

Issues:
1) low graphics quality
2) low FPS and stutters
3) input lag
4) poor FFB
5) cars feel like floating instead of driving on asphalt

Solutions:
1)
2)
3) * Edit DampeningEnabled="1" string to "0" in vehicleset_pc_custom_pad.xml and reselect controller scheme in game (to custom pad of course). Should work with custom wheel file as well.
* Disbale 'Allow Game To Adjust Settings' in Logitech Profiler.
4)
5)
