Never heard of this ViDock before, but spent the past 5 minuites reading about it and my mind of blown!....anyways.

I don't know much about ViDock, but i have done alot of crazy configurations with multiple monitors.

1.) I am just makeing some assumptions here about how ViDock works. But try this: On the control pannel under "display" --> "screen resolution" Then hit "detect". Do two monitors show up? If it properly detecting your monitors native resolution?

2.) What is the wattage of your video card? I was looking through the ViDock documentation and each module has a max wattage. The ViDock 2 is really old and discontinued. I think it is limited to 65 watts max. What is the video card make and model that you are useing?

3.) Is your laptop listed on the list of "incompatible laptops"? What is your laptop make and model? http://www.villagetronic.com/vidock/compatibility.html

If power is the issue, you could jump start a PSU and ghetto rig it to the card in the Vidock. I assume the Vidock wouldn't move around as much. I've read up on them and suggested them to people, and was thinking of getting one for my laptop except for the fact that it would be better to just save for a desktop in my situation.
