So much bad luck!

Oh my goodness gracious... It has taken me like 2 months to finally get this build up and running.

I've went through two motherboards, thinking one was bad and then buying the one I have now. 2 CPU's, finding out that quad cores will not work on my motherboard regardless of what BIOS version it has. 2 sets of memory thinking that was the problem... now I have an extra set of 2x2gb RAM

Now recently I finally got all my parts! I was thinking oh man finally! But then, I go to power it on and I get the... 1 second on, then the next off... ok, case isn't grounded or something (LIan Li PC-888) so I take it out, put it on the mobo box, same thing. Seasonic x-650w dead... Okay, 3 days later then I bought my TruePower new...

Great! I finally get windows installed get my OC tuned up and all my games installed. Then I leave for the weekend and come home and power on my computer. Nothing. Okay, open the bad boy up and find that PSU isn't even giving ANY power.

Next! After a week, I RMA'ed both PSU's. Got my Antec one back first, yesterday, so I install it! YEY! It works! So I go to find a DVD to burn my .img Windows 7 file (MSDN ) and I dont have it (lost my flashdrive that was set up as a bootable windows 7 install) and I have none. Go to the store buy a thing of them, okay $6 no biggie. Go home, burn the file. Install it!

Then find out that one of my SATA cables is unplugged and the HDD isn't detected so I had to open it up, maneuver the cable back into place and finally... finish my build!!!!

TL;DR: I was having massive bad luck with my current sig rig, and finally got it!

now for crysis 2

OMG this is really a bad story. I think i would have started crying several times and loose all confidence in my building_a_rig skills.
I hope this is a onetime only experience for you.
But i think now after such a hard time you even enjoy your rig more...
Have fun with crysis2 and give your rig sometimes a hug

Damn man, I know what you've been through, sorta.

I bought my new build, motherboard just wouldn't turn on while in the case. Turns out I installed it wrong and it bent. I installed my windows for 2 and a half days, since I thought that the copies (yes, I'm a pirate hur hur) I was getting were corrupt and I kept getting errors. Ok, finally succeed to install windows. Around 2 weeks later, hdd simply wipes over night. No clue how or why, it just wiped it self. Its like I've bought a new one and put it in and forget about it. Even the partitions were gone, just plain unallocated space. Ok, partition everything, install windows after 10 fails, (forgot which CD worked), everything works fine. Few months later, started getting crashes, bad ones, a guy in the tech shop told me it was the GPU. Bought a new one, didn't work, was deflective. RMA'd, got a new one, worked for a day, then started to crash again. Asked if I could change from asus to sapphire, shop agreed. I changed (don't regret this, much better cooling on sapphire), still crashing. Then I figured it was my memory, so RMAd the ram, got them back, still crashing, **** it, RMA'd my motherboard, got it back, installed all the parts, FINALLY working right! xD So I kinda know how you feel

If you knew how much money I've wasted on computer problems and bad purchases, you wouldn't be crying anymore. BTW awesome case.
