Hay guys i got a new ati 6870 in jan and booted up ME2 this week to play the new DLC but it seems to be running way slower now like 15 to 25 FPS with my old 4890 it ran 40 - 45 FPS im i doing something wrong or is my Cpu to blame?

......

EDIT:Beers u gotta point... i misread and thought he had a 4870 not 4890...

You may want to try lowering some settings(never played ME2 so i dont know how intense it is) or as beers said check AA and AF
I still would upgrade your CPU as you may encounter a bottleneck

Garbage answers, he was using the same CPU with a slower card.
Explain to me how that would be applicable.

OP, are you sure no AA or AF was forced on when you installed drivers for the new card?

I was looking over his Sig Rig for answers- this doesnt make any sense - "2 ATI Radeon Hd 6870 512", I never heard of a 512mb 6870 and his motherboard only has 1 PCI-E 16x slot.

I guess it's possible the 6xxx's are more cpu dependant than the 4xxx series, but I doubt it. I would guess it's a driver issue or this PCI-E slot isnt operating at 16x.

his cpu bottleneck already 6870 crossfire...

he already have bottleneck for 6870s on his system...you need cpu power for crossfire..it cant be change..

but you must check your driver to

(and my friend playıng ME2 with 4850 single card..and not 15-20fps..his playing well already..)

Go to your Catalyst center and in the 3D settings look for Anti Aliasing and make sure its set to Off or Application controlled.

The game is not very intense, try wiping out your drivers and then reinstalling them.
