640 GB WD Blacks in Raid 0 suggestions/First time (benchmark included)

Ok guys i have two 640 GB WD Blacks and I want to raid 0 them. I have done raid 0 a few years back so I'm a little rusty and need help and advice.

this is what i have

-2 x WD Blacks 640 GB AALS
-EVGA x58 micro (set up in sig "Main Rig")

ideal way to set it up?

Short stroke to xxx GB?

Partions for OS? another for games? another for programs. ie overclock stuff/evga precision/MS office, etc.

as of right now i have 116 GB on my current hard drive. I will be adding and additional 50 GB of music. And I would say i will probably adding and additional 40 GB of various programs and possibly a few more games in the future.

What do the experts recommend? What would you do?

thank you for your inputs!

The new RST drivers from Intel are a must for SSD, and RAID. I seen a big jump on my SS'd F3's (Short Stroked to 500GB). I'd say for the best balance between space, and performance, would be to use half the total capacity of your drives.

Those WD drives really do shine with Access times, my array can only do 11.1ms with my current short stroke
