Windows 7 locking up in raid0 using ssd's

hey guys hows it going?

I am having a slight problem, my install of windows 7 keeps locking up when I use my SSD's in RAID 0.

This is the second time I have installed win 7 and the problem persists, I leave the PC Idle and after a while it just lock up no mouse nothing.

Originally I thought it was my overclock but it's doing the same at stock, is there any idea's as to why it's behaving in such a way.
I find it a pain in the bum because this is my first dealings with raid and it's leaving a bit of a sour taste.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Maybe the chipset is getting too hot and data is getting corrupted?

Well that's the weird thing, once I reboot it's fine.

I really wouldn't know where to start, as I said this is my first brush with RAID 0.
I would of thought if the data was getting corrupted the whole windows install would be stuffed, but before it chucks a hissy fit it runs as sweet as a nut.

The SSD's I am using are Kingston SSD now V 64gb, just the SATA ones. The strange thing is, I cannot fine huge amounts of details about them.
For instance I know that they are rebranded Intel drives but I don't know the controller and whether they have cache.

See if there is a bios fix on Gigabytes homepage, the controller could be a little wonky. Or see if there is any firmware update to your Kingston (if any )

Another solution is maybe the power saving function in Win 7, which I'm guessing with a little google search is clashing with your Mobo's Power Saving Feature. Remember that was a problem with some people. My

Edit: Just saw this was in AMD side

I don't think that there is a firmware update these drives are discontinued.

Raid program do tell more...

I have turned the power saving off in windows and on the mobo also due to overclocking. Also I was unaware of a power saving problem, I'll have to look about.

Tried the intel matrix storage and it says that my system doesn't meet the minimum spec required to install the software.
