Dude, seriously, people try to help you time after time in this thread and you are gonna be like that?

You do realize that people learn who is polite and who is not right? And poeple will help or not help based on that.

Problem solved.
Seriously... Return the damn thing, or find the keylogger and confirm it then wipe.

Make a decision and stop acting like a kid

The second I got my Lenovo W500 in the mail I powered it on to make sure it worked, replaced the hard drive, opened it up to install more RAM and installed my own OS (I purchased it with 1GB RAM/smallest HDD/Vista basic). Lenovo even allows customers to replace their keyboard, wireless card, etc. without voiding the warranty. I thought this was standard.

Either Lenovo is awesome or Samsung hates their customers.
Both, Lenovo=awesome, Samsung=hates their customers. I can discuss this more later, as its not limited to just laptops. (personal experience with their phones and TVs too)

oh and yeah I wipe my laptops the first thing when i buy them

He wasn't being helpful, he was being a smart ass.

Like I said, he finally posted an actual location so I could download the iso and I thanked him.

I don't call belittling someone "being helpful" but this is the Internet afterall..

Windows Home Premium x64. Completely legal, why? BECAUSE YOU OWN A PRODUCT KEY.

It's an ISO file, you put a DVD in your DVD drive, burn the ISO to the DVD. Done. Install Windows and enter the product key that came with your laptop.

I have said this I believe five posts now.
Is that site backed by microsoft? I remember googling about downloading a windows ISO when you already had a key but the microsoft admins kept copy pasting a response claiming that a legal download for any microsoft operating system didn't exist.

Precisely why I asked for a download location and got jumped for "trolling". MS offered to SELL me a replacement disk, they however, did NOT offer to provide me "with a link for download"

I think OP is the only one. Be comforted in knowing you're behavior was more than acceptable IMO.

Quite frankly you're just wrong. You post a controversial topic with out even proving that you found a keylogger, let alone even opened the box.... and you're being indecisive and stupid. Seriously, go take a shower, freshen up, get some coffee, wake up and read what you posted.

Of course not. If you're too stupid to figure it out yourself they're going to ask money from you.. they're a business...
