Not to mention, I've yet to have a game with proper CF or SLi performance on launch which you would think would be a no brainier by now. It was excusable back in like 05-06, but this is 2011.

Unlike the DS2 problem with the difficulty which is ignorable for example, Crysis 2 isn't. It's unbearable and makes the game almost unplayable. To make matters worse, it still isn't fixed properly for about 3/4 of the people who are trying and it's been what? A week+ after launch?
All of those games you mentioned are console ports, of course they aren't going to work right. Stop whining.

Not sure if this has been posted yet or works (seeing I have not read this whole thread or have a crossfire setup)
Still flickers for me with that new profile.

What is funny is that I had 4870 Tri-Fire and played the game flicker free.

Now that I switched to the 6950 (unlocked) Crossfire it Flickers badly.

roflmao - yes because Fallout, the same game as the avatar you have, is totally a console port.
And Black Ops is much less of a console port than most give it credit for, it's less of a "console port" than Crysis 2 is that's for sure. Your argument towards what I said works against you when you throw in the fact that Dead Space 2 (a console port) was more playable than this game is even a week after launch.
Hell, games like Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 1/2 are console ports 100% yet they run twice as better than any native PC or exclusive PC game has ever ran on a PC with additional effects and details than most games offer.

Stop whining? Stop being ignorant.
I'm so sorry that if I spent $40-60 on a game, I expect to actually be able to play it. Especially a week+ after it has come out. You need to redefine your definition of "whining". People like you are why companies do these types of things, and push us around - letting such MASSIVE flaws like this happen. It's a total game breaker, it's not something that is simply ignored. How this even got through to retail is astounding in and of itself.

Then Crysis 2 has about a dozen other problems as well, flickering all aside. The multiplayer login system is atrocious especially the MyCrysis integration. It works with some, others it doesn't, it depends on the day or the moon's alignment to the sun, ect.
Then of course the problems with the actual principles of the game's native foundation: how can you not have an advanced graphics GUI, downgrade the resolution of textures from the previous game, completely wreck the multiplayer's uniqueness, ect.
None of that is whining, even in the slightest. Something like having the texture resolution lowered from the previous game is absurd! Who does that? And removing any customization of the settings in game sans console? Also unthinkable.
Problems aside: Crysis 2 looks like it's a great game, from what I could play that is without nearly having a seizure.
