CPU updgrade doubt

Thread Starter
im gonna go straight to the point,
My cpu is bottlenecking like crazy my new GPU so im looking for an upgrade:

1) Get a x6 1090T (would be the cheapest choice)

2) Go intel with an i5 2500K, but of course i'd have to buy a new mobo. (i "think" i prefer this option)

3) Wait for bulldozer, but again, i'd have to buy another mobo

What say you guys?

1. My opinion for anything having to do with gaming, it's pointless. Unless you're going to be encoding, using 3D software, etc. You won't really utilize the x6, and you'd be pretty much getting the exact same performance in games as your current x4 since most games don't utilize more than four cores.

2. You can do that, and if you're behind you can sell your CPU and current MOBO to help afford the costs.

3. Up to you.

+1 for option 2.

Split difference with current hardware sell off.

Be happier -_-
