From what I've seen most top out at ~1450 if they OC at all

Most 4GB generic 1333 CL9 DIMMs use earlier ICs when 4GB DIMMs were in their infancy - ICs that are okay for running at these settings but not so much anymore for better settings.

It's true, 1333mhz ram generally don't want OC at all, but sometimes you can get lucky. I've had a 1333mhz (1.5v) kit that I was able to get up to 1796mhz 7-8-7-24 timings, but it's very rare to find a kit that will do that.

I'd go for the 1600mhz ram right from the start, because like I said above, 1333mhz ram probably won't be able to OC the far, and it could hold back your CPU OC.

Thanks you've been great help guys =). Last question would be i want to use the Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50 for cooling. Im just not a huge fan of having water in my system, ya know?i Just want my money not to go to waste and then realize that if i got something cheaper it would of worked better. Maybe there is a better one out there for me you could recommend? Thanks

p.s. Ive been doing research and found a lot of ppl say the NOCTUA NH-D14 is better than the h50? maybe ill go in that direction i just want some opinions first

I don't have an exact comparison but I can tell you that the NH-D14 is very, very good

wow i can see by your specs. dam 4ghz and your at 38c under load! that's crazy well just enough to make up my mind =D. Were the stock fans good enough or you changed them?

NH-D14 will be better than a H50 but it will cost more (this is the best price I know of H50 at TD

Really it depends on what your budget is. Don't worry about the H50 leaking, its very, very safe.

That is core temps. CPU temp (which might or might not be a more proper measurement) loads at 49C.

idk i just in need of upgrading atm. I love my pc atm just my cpu is bottle-necking my gpu. I can play most if not all games atm on high or very high with no problems unless of course a lot is happening at once, is where it starts to get slow. I only bought this pc to get rid of my crap 2001 gaming pc lol! but its time to upgrade and get most out of my computer and finally say i have a awesome gaming pc plus i wanna run arma 2 better. Its my fav game just my pc is sorta slow when a lot of action is going on.
