And I DEFO wouldn't do any daredevil overclocks with a cpu in that state! Those scratches could turn into cracks which lead to worse things... now it's just your cpu in "bad" state. What would you do if your cpu fails and takes your mobo (and possibly other hardware) with it?
As I have said, I have sanded down the CPU even more than the last picture you see on the first post. (The result was that it looks more shiny, not mirror shiney, but it just abouts shine and after a good clean, the result was even better. I forgot to take a picture of it sadly.
And about the damage, dont't worry, if it happens, it happens, it will all be caught on the video I will be making to show you the overclock that I will be attempting to do tommorow and will get a video link up sometime tommorow, if not than please subscribe to me on my YouTube account.
And the damage that I may cause tommorow doesn't bother me because I will be upgradeing on the 2nd of May
