The first needed about a GeForce 6800 to max out smoothly at higher settings/resolutions (A Radeon 9800 might have, but the GeForce 4 Ti4200 I had prior didn't), and was alot more powerful than the, what, GeForce 3 in the Xbox? So, I'd say it sounds about right.Crysis was worse. It called for an ATi Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 if using Windows Vista), but with nVidia, you needed a GeForce 6800GT! Okay, I can understand them skipping the GeForce FX, but the standard GeForce 6800 and GeForce 6600GT both bettered the Radeon 9800, and they weren't enough? Actually, seeing how it ran on my GeForce 6800 GS AGP, I'd say yeah, a GeForce 6800GT sounds about right for minimum, but then it makes me wonder how a Radeon 9800 Pro can play it?They're making a fourth, and maybe a fifth too, last I heard.
ATi Radeon 9800 Pro would seem way to low for Crysis or Fable III. X800 is a okay enough card, but I had trouble of running it on Bioshock. There is no Shader Model 3.0 just 2.0 and 2.0b witch makes running new games very difficult.

Yeah, it'd be too low for Fable III, but my point was that people seemed surprised at the GeForce GTX 260/Radeon 5770 recommendation (even though they seem roughly equal), when Crysis already pulled a case of "minimum requirements with two cards of different calibers" before.

Fable 1 xbox was fun, TLC was the same but with 4-5 more hours of gameplay.
Fable 2 got such bad reviews that I never even played it, not to mention it never made it to PC.
This better have extended Story like TLC or it will FLOP! from what I have read over the last month it wont have any additional game play over the console, merely just at pc format to configure a mouse and keyboard.

I was a big fable fan during TLC, but now with DAO and DA2 out, and Skyrim on its way.
FABLE 3 better get good marks or I wont BUY it.

Fable does have one thing going for it (marketing)

This can't possibly be worse than DA2 right? I'm giving it a chance.

I own both and use the HD 5770 over the GTX 260, it's slightly faster and uses less energy/outputs less heat.

DA2 was'nt so much bad as it was lacking in length. I just finished my 4th time around and was happy with the graphics, game-play, Isabella, GUI, Isabella, and the over all experience.

Did i say Isabella?

But after killing Meredith I was left feeling like "That's all, that's it, ***?"

DA2 needs a big expansion, not just black Emporium, and Rouge/archer guy.
I mean like 6+ additional hours after killing Meredith. Make Sandal a companion "Enchantment"

Fabe will be the same kind of disappointment as DA2 if there is no additional game-play added for PC like was in TLC.

Lion Head has to realize that they have to fill the shoes of TLC

EDIT: Ahh TLC, the memories... "Look its the chicken chaser"

Shocked to find out they would say a 9800 could handle Crysis. How do they test Minimum System Requirements any way?

I played Crysis with a x850xt, athlon 3200+ 2.5ghz and 1.75GB of DDR. Ran at low/med@1024x768 . Hardly playable.
