Ducky VS Xarmor

Thread Starter
I was looking for a keyboard. I narrowed it down to 2, the Xarmor U9 Brown (100$ w/S&H), or the Ducky DK9008 (OCN PBT, 160$ w/S&H).

Since the Ducky/OCN isn't available, I was wondering what was the difference between

and

They both have Cherry MX Browns, neither have printed keycaps, they both have media keys, both are NKRO over PS/2 and they both are 102/US Layout.

I'm not too much of a quality maniac, I'm using a 5 year old Logitech G15.

I'dd get the Ducky ASAP if it was available, but it's not available, so am I losing out getting an Xarmor ?

Ducky is built to a higher standard, but I'm not sure how much better it would be over the XArmour.

I was actually browsing around and I saw you saying it had bad soldering / keycaps in the Xarmor U9 release thread, is this still your opinion ?

Some have described the keycaps in the Xarmour as being somewhat loose. The soldering comment was made in reference to another keyboard made by the same OEM. That said, I can't say I've seen that many reports of Xarmours failing, at least not yet.

Well the Xarmor keyboards at Ergogeek are on a 15% discount until the 3rd of April. Its a good deal in my opinion.
