Cell phones, ON RECORD, cause cancer.

Side note - Fluoride (the stuff Hitler had in concentration camps, and the stuff u now have in tapp water,) isnt good for you..
You probably heard it said - but DON'T believe everything you hear / read...

A single molecule of plutonium, if it goes into your lung, can give u cancer.
They're finding plutonium in the ground in Japan now...

Cell Phones do NOT cause cancer, it's an urban legend.

From the World Health Organization
http://www.who.int/features/qa/30/en/

Just to back this up, they use microwave radiation - which, since it is lower on the spectrum than light - has less potential to harm you.

X-RAYs are fine for you unless you get a full body CT every day for the rest of your life (even then, it wouldn't be a huge problem).

TSA Body Scanners aren't a problem either.

The fluoride in water is perfectly safe, with the only known adverse medical effect being slightly increased risk for minor white splotches on your teeth. This is a small price to pay for an estimated 40% reduction in cavities.

Your monitor is giving off radiation, probably more then a cellphone, turn off your pc now!

Better safe than sorry. And there are different types of radiation. Nuclear, Solar, Microwave, etc. Cellphones are the microwave type, in very very small amounts.

Solution? Don't live near a nuclear plant, don't yak on your cellphone for hours on end, and turn your monitor off when you're not using it. And only the CRT type of monitor emits any form of radiation, same with CRT tv's cause it's the same technology.

Completely unessecary. Sleeping within 8 feet of someone else gives you more radiation than sleeping inside nuclear plant would. This is because all humans are naturally radioactive from the food we eat. Banannas and coal plants are also much more radioactive than a nuclear plant.

They did. When the earthquake hit the reactors were shut off within 10 seconds and seawater was pumped in shortly after. Once you put seawater into a reactor it can never be used again.

No Fluoride in my tap water either, we got rid of that long ago
Doesn't a PC itself give off microwave radiation from the CPU?

Sounds like an FDA spokesmen.

I am just happy it was not another Tunguska Event. Could you imagine if something like that happened near a populous?

Except Japan had a 8.9/9.0 earthquake. A FAR Bigger earthquake. The Nuclear reactor actually had a bunch of safety systems that SHOULD of made it safe with a 9.0 earthquake but did not.

A CPU would put out electromagnetic not microwave band radiation. And i doubt it would even be measurable, especially with alot more noiser components.
