Imagine how many times big companies like EA and Activision have lied, but yet they are the biggest video game dudes out there!

Also saying that they lied about Crysis 2 being a better game is just now justifiable. They shouldn't have said that yes, but it is really just a matter of opinion. Most people, even PC Gamers who have played the first, overall like Crysis 2 better, including me. So they didn't lie about that. And technically, the game has better visuals. The only thing NOTICEABLY worse in Crysis 2 are the textures. But effects like lighting are way better and are way more natural than the original Crysis.
It's amazing how you can justify everything that has gone wrong with this game as satisfactory and not only alright by you, but that such failures and lies are to be expected. What a morally depraved world we live in.

Just an FYI - I can still use the cheats I made before and I have yet to get reset or banned for 24 hours. Right now it looks like their cheat system is only targeting memory injections, and not client side edits to Scripts.pak. Essentially, this is the main culprit that is causing a lot of the hacking, and it should instead be read from the server and not the client side. At the very least , the game should make sure that certain values are read as what they should be instead of just letting everything go through.

That's what is called false advertisement, and in most industries would get the seller hung by the nutsack.
I disagree, the game actually has better graphics and plays better than Crysis so to me they actually delivered on the promise

no, that's not my point. What I was trying to say is that you should play Crysis 2 the way its supposed to be played as in the gameplay is more action oriented and fast paced. The streamlining of the nanosuit coupled with gameplay changes means you can actually use speed, strength and cloak at the same time compared to Crysis where you had to choose. The game also has a much more intriguing story and the sounds especially the music blow Crysis out of the water big time

Funny how Crytek didn't stop the hackers on day 1. When their beta mp was hacked to begin with.

And how did the first Crysis move gaming forward? Ya, it had the best graphics at the time and is still right up there at or near the top of the list for best looking game. That's the point though....it is still at or near the top of the list. If it did move gaming forward, it should not even be in the top 10 anymore...4 years later. No one tried to duplicate what they did or make it better. It showed what could be done, but no one cared because they rather sell 100x more copies with less development time than make a benchmark/game for PC.

The only thing Crysis 1 did was maybe speed up GPU development to the next generation at that time and maybe make people upgrade hardware sooner than they would have normally. But that is about it.

I'm all for impoving graphics and DX11 and everything else, but I just realize that it will not change anytime soon. I just appreciate that I get games on the PC yet that run and look good. There are a lot of console exclusives out there that we don't get to play and it could easily change and we could even get less. I don't like it, but life will go on.

Sure, clean em up. I've been playing the game for the few past days and I constantly rage quit 'cause of those who shoot while in cloak mode, peeps who has no reload, and especially the idiots who has like infinity grenades and just spam them into the players...

And all that happening in official EA/Ranked servers. >_>
