5670 is a good $40 cheaper than the 250 if you buy wisely...which could take a pretty big load off your budget. Plus a 5670 is more than enough for light gaming. I bought one for my client build.

If you're going to get a 380 watt make sure you get a quality one.

With the Nvidia solution you'd have to SLI to use Surround.
Better to go with the ATI solution if you want multimonitor...

Some 5670's suppot eyefinity, some don't. This particular one does, and it can power 3 displays off one card.

Also the only cards that support eyefinity are 5xxx and up.

Yes a gd power supply is very important-personaly i would not get anything under an 850w,and only a hand full of brands i would pick from. The sparkle i have in my new rig is an awsum power supply-first one i bought from them, but i,m sure it wont be the last!

If he's going to game across all three screens, he definitely needs a better graphics card, crossfire even. One 5670 is probably not going to be enough.

Yep.

Get a quality 400w and you're golden

This
The 5670 has support for eyefinity but if he is going to game on it there will not be enough power.
