Audio Odd Question

Thread Starter
Alright, I love audio but I am not sure where to ask the question. The ole GF and I have gotten into camping but we realized after our first trip that we lacked music. We are looking for some battery operated speakers that can work with a iPhone, mp3 player, or laptop (laptop being the least because of bat consumption.)

If anyone had any experience with this hit me up. I am lost at which would be good. Been trying to google anything.

One way would be to buy a pair of speakers and a battery-operated amplifier. You should be able to find an amp that is powered on +12V so you can pull from the car battery.
Otherwise, MP3 players usually have enough power by themselves to run a pair of small speakers so that they could make themselves heard in a small quiet camping site - try to hardwire two 2 ohm speakers if you have some handy to a headphone jack and see how it goes, maybe you won't even need to buy an amp.
