Yup, it's working.

Surprisingly, the single link DVI also gave me 2560x1600 but it was completely screwed up..blurry and horrible. I didn't realize it was single link until I already hooked it up so, it was quite a surprise and disappointment.

The dvi messed up for me too. With my mini hdmi to hdmi from my gtx 480, the max resolution i'm able to get is 1920x1200

yes i received a single link dvi cable but i called them and got them to send me a dual link dvi and display port cable for free.

That stinks that you both got single link cables. It definitely should have come with a dual link. Mine came with a dual link, it actually looked brand new and was made by Cables To Go (see pic below). I could tell it was dual link too because it was much thicker and stiffer than the single link DVI cable I used with my previous monitor.

so what's the difference between single link dvi and dual link dvi?

edit: i just did some research through google and found out single dvi can go up to 1920 x 1080?
My monitor goes up to 1900 x 1200, so does that mean I need dual dvi too?
