xd's Ultimate Mozilla Firefox Recommended Add-Ons List - Page 11

Two Questions:

1) Is there an add-on like multi-row bookmarks for tabs/open websites? I have found Tabs Menu and can't really complain about it, though I have not really used it yet.

What I am looking for is a way to create Rows of my Open Tabs.

2) This is not in the proper thread, so please don't jump all over me about "thread hijacking". Please, I can be quite sensitive. wink.gif

However, has anyone had trouble with FF 8 Crashing Repeatedly? Repeatedly = Just about all the time.

Sorry, don't get the lol joke. I'm using the latest version of FF which is 8.0.1.

I try to stay ahead of the curve, which is not to say that I bought the AMD Bulldozer CPU. rolleyessmileyanim.gif

So, yes, some of you have noticed that with the time I've been given as well as the ease of use of the new OCN site, I am starting to update this thread regularly again and you will be seeing plenty of new Firefox addon recommendations from myself and I am also open to others' input wink.gif I also plan to create a version of this in OCN's articles section however I'm waiting on some additional tweaks and of course, addons, before doing so.

1) Tab Mix Plus will give you that option.  I am adding it to this list.
2) Not sure what's up there, you may want to clean up/optimize your profile (view my other firefox-related thread).

^ You'll have to leave that to another expert as I am not a Chrome user.

Updated! Many more add-ons in the list including BetterPrivacy, FEBE, SkipScreen, FireShot, IE Tab +, Springpad Extension, Briteclick, Pano etc - All of the addons I just listed are those that I have found, used, and very highly recommend! thumb.gif

Wow, this is becoming quite huge!

Now an OCN article! [CLICK HERE]

I personally now have 84 addons enabled, alongside 36 Stylish scripts.

I do not recommend the use of NoScript and will probably never recommend it on here.  While NoScript could be a nice bandwidth-saver and decent depending on your internet connection plan among other things, what I have found about NoScript is that all it does is remove functionality for minimal performance increase - and extra work and time is required to get that functionality back.  That is extremely counter-productive.  I would rather focus on browsing my webpage from the moment it loads than setting any particular webpage rules before being able to browse the web page.
