New build. Need help picking pieces for the money!

Thread Starter
Hello! Last year I built a rig with a lot of help from this site and I was hoping you all can help again! However last year my budget was 2k this time I only have a budget of around 400 I would like to not go over 500.
I know that I would still like intel but other than that I'm open to any suggestions for a build.

What's it going to be used for?
Gaming mainly.
SC2, WoW, and most likely some fps.

I know it's going to be hard with the budget but I figure the great minds here will know how to get the most bang for my buck.

No mouse, keyboard, or monitor needed.
Thanks for even taking the time to read this and more thanks if you have and help!!

The good thing is Intel managed to finally sort out their issues with SB motherboards so you can choose among the latest components. My take:
*core i3 2100 (3.1GHz DualCore - no Turbo) ~110$
*any P67/H67 motherboard ~80$
*4GB DDR3 ~50$
*case+PSU (I personally like Antec combos) ~60-80$
*1TB Samsung F3 ~50$
=> this is some 350$; depending on your budget you could go for a 5570 (50$) or a 4850 if you ca still find them (~60$) as they have 5750-like performance. The GTS 450 and 5750/5770 are good cards for about 100$. For 150 the 6850 is an amazing deal if you can fit it in your budget: 1920x1080 @ high details for most games.

cheers
