9-9-9-24 1T vs 8-8-8-24 2T

like it says.

1600mhz, 4 sticks in a DIMM's

anything lower than 999-24 1T and i wont post

but i can hit 8-8-8-24-2T

whats better for performance.?

ive heard said 2T is best or really what you HAVE to do with more than 3 sticks.

so .. lower CAS? .. or lower command rate..

you have 4 sticks ehh??the 8-8-8-24 2T sounds just right..going tighter needs more voltage for the sticks..with your setup go with the CAS 8 setting and 2T..

think so?

ive just heard if you can, on ddr3, get 1T and tighter settings.

problem is, i got the crappiest ram out there haha
i swear. i can even hit 7-7-7-21-2T

(this is for another build im working on, not my specs down below)

im gonna run memtest i guess, and see what i get
thats all i really need to do haha

thanks bro +1 repage

1T is tighter but is for only 2 sticks..or a single array/channel..for 4 sticks or 2 channels working you are really opted to go 2T for stability..if your RAM's are binned on a good DDR3 then with just a voltage bump you can tighten it easily..try 7-8-7-24 2T with a bump on the voltages and see how it works..
