Asus M4A87TD/USB3

Thread Starter
Hey OCN

I Purchased this motherboard

However

I am disappointed that it is advertised as a USB 3.0 Board
and only has 2 USB 3.0 Ports at the back and the rest is
USB 2.0 considering that USB 3.0 is backwards compatible
why would they have a setup like this while advertising it
as /USB3 board not complaining just disappointed by the lack
of ports

For cost effectiveness and the lack of USB 3 devices so far. There are more USB 2 devices out and I would imagine that if they just put the USB 3 in then you would be asking where is the USB2 plugs.. In a answer to your question. Money. It is cheaper to put in the USB 2s. That is the whole answer.
