2600K Failed IBT - Page 2

Go back to your overclock and run prime blend and small FFT. If you pass both, and games don't crash either, you're stable. Just blame the full moon or something. Or RMA the CPU if you really must, but I bet the next one will have the same problem...

It runs prime on blend for 13hours without problems, I havnt done small fft's ill report back when I do I hope it was just something flawed in the bios. Ill reset my cmos in hope of getting the multiplier to work how it supposed to. =\\

Wow, this sound really weird. Surely the chip wouldn't degrade that fast from that voltage. Keeping tabs on this.

Hey guys, ran 9 hours of prime small fft's no errors. Still however no luck of getting more than 2 runs on IBT even on the standard setting. I've tested the ram on a buddies x58 build. He passes IBT with my ram :/ cleared the cmos again had trouble getting it to post after a few times it turned on and is still running at the max turbo multi 24/7.

I wish someone had a p67 setup that i knew near by so I could test this chip out on another mobo.
