New to water cooling (help) - Page 2

You won't see a drop in temperatures on the gpu's since you didn't do anything to the cooler on those, just the cpu. The gpu's normally run pretty hot on the stock cooler. Water will improve temps on the gpu's pretty significantly if that's what you're aiming for. The pump in the rasa kit might not be adequate for a cpu block + 2 gpu's. What kind of cooling you can use is up to how you want to mount the cooling hardware. What case are you currently using?

I'm currently using azza hurrican 2000. I'm thinking of removing the hdd place bottom four make mke mre room if I can. I don't mind installing just 1 gpu and I think that will be fine but if I can somehow put 2 gpus ill b satisfied. If I do get a new pump would it work to fit 2 gpu?? Thank you very much

Yes, it would work with a different pump. Depending on how much you're willing to spend. I'm currently using the Swiftech MCP35X which is a pump that can be controlled via PWM which most motherboards can control. This allows your motherboard control the output of the pump depending on the temperature so it will run quitely while idle. Here is a review http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...reservoir.html.

Thank you. I think I will be doing that later when I want to water cool 2nd gpu. Quick question I c you have Ek supreme. I was also thinking about getting Ek Supreme. Can probably get it in one month for that money. Is it worth getting Ek supreme kit??

I love the EK HF Supreme the Koolance 370 is a nice runner up depending if you can get either on sale. The RASA block isnt 1/2 bad either for its price. If your on a budget the rasa is a great choice over the EK HF Supreme.

Looking at the Rasa kit, it seems to only come with the Rasa CPU block. Here is a list I got from sidewinder: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ra750rswakit.html

- Rasa Black (Acetal) CPU Waterblock
- Socket 775, 1366 and 1154 Backplates
- Socket AM2 and AM3 mounting kit
- X2O 750 12V Pump/Reservoir (42dB Max)
- 5mm Blue LED with 4Pin Molex
- RS240 Radiator
- 80mm to 120mm Radiator brackets
- Low Noise 1700rpm 120mm Fan x2
- 120mm Fan Grill x2
- 2 Meters of Clear 7/16" Hose
- G1/4" to 1/2" barbs x6
- Thermal Paste

This Swiftech kit seems pretty good: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swh2edwitr12.html

It comes with the pump I mentioned earlier, ath the Swiftech Apogee XTL (same as the XT) is pretty decent here's a review:

The pump is plenty strong so you can just add two GPU blocks.

Yes, the longer the bar, the worse the performance.
