Great board, but very expensive. I assume you plan on running multi card? Or you just like the features?

Wait for the z68 boards to come out.

I'll be RMA'ing my board and selling it as soon as it comes back once the z chipset comes out.

You could wait for the z68 boards to come out. But other than that, the next big intel deal won't be until ivy bridge.

Just upgarded from Asus P5N-D and Q9650 at 3.8, to Asus MIVE and 2600k.

Couldn't be happier, games run very smooth, even with my old GTS250 (returning sh%%ty Gainward, and will never buy that brand agian!)

Im getting excellent frames in BC2 and running FRAPS only drops fps by 10, with the Q9650 it was unplayable with fraps and a 460.

Hope this helps!

No need to get something like that unless you plan on running 3 GPU's.

Probably Q1 2012.

Tbh, I don't see anything wrong about you buying now. Well, maybe you could wait for some sales or something to shave some $ of the total price
