Thermaltake Frio - Screw Problem

I just bought one, might have underestimated the size a tad and it is yet to be installed but look like a bloody nice piece of kit.

What are other thoughts if you have one?

Eddie.

its a good mid range cooler. its no top of the line cooler but its only a few degrees off from them. you should be very happy with it.

Did you pick that up when Newegg had them on sale for $30?
My friend has one on his 1090T and it keeps very cool at load.

His idle temps are lower than mine, but his ambient temp is 8c below mine! lol

No, was an impulse buy really. It was suggested by a friend that I get one and then I saw it in the Today only section on scan so thought right I'm having that, was £34.99 I believe down from something like £42.00. And free delivery Obviously just made it more appealing!

Hopefully it will fit onto my Mobo and into my case!

Eddie.

Luckily messing around with this cooler allowed me to spot something which would be an absolute pain if you had already started to install it.

The screws which attach the clips to the CPU cool fix them in NO certain position! I found enough movement from this to make the clips and back plate misalign significantly!

Just though I might let people know cause it Pi**ed me right off for a little while!

Eddie.
