Also I'd rather have an x3 @ 2.8 than a regor at 3.2 - thats just me though.
I second this

Well as I previously said whenever I activate my third core the cpu requires more voltage to operate. And it would get quiet toasty even at stock and stock was only 2.7Ghz and I want to get rid of any CPU bottleneck

Testing at 3.3Ghz
HT link @ 1960
CPU voltage: 1.392v (Max spike i've seen)
NB voltage/clock: 1.2v/2.4Ghz
Ram: ~940Mhz

Temps on CPUTIN are around 37~38c

Also is ACC bad?

I would enable that third core and let it be at 2.8 for the CPU. Then like I said keep trying to get that NB up. I doubt youll see any gain from disabling one core to get an extra +0.6MHz. That third core is where its at for your rig. Plus that 465 wont be bottlenecked so your good. If you want to gain a little FPS you should be researching how to unlock that 465 to a 470. I heard thats possible. But research first IM not an Nvidia guy its just what I heard.

So leave my CPU at stock? So a 2.7Ghz tri core is better than a dual core at 3.3Ghz? My mobo only gives me the option to up NB voltage and has nothing about raise the clock it's self.

Yup IMO the tri-core at 2.7 is better than dual at 3.3! if you could get it to a 1GHz overclock it would be different, but you wont. Leave it at tri-cre and then try and overclock if you wish if not tri-core still good.

The NB freq will get bumped when you raise your bus speed so for instance putting your multiplier down to 10 and your bus to 300 would give you a overclock of 3.0GHz and your NB should increase to 3GHz automatically, depending on your bios.
