Actually, it's pretty easy and risk-free. Use nhibitor to save bios as a rom, Fermi Editor to change settings, and flash with nvflash. Took me longer to create a bootable disk than it did to change settings and flash.
No, I know how to flash a card. I've done it tons of times. I just don't feel safe doing it with a fermi card. It just seems too sketchy.

If I read the file with gpuz it came up with the red light, Read it in nvflash and it was green, but still couldn't edit anything except the fans. All I ended up doing was increasing max voltage to 1.12 and unlocked to fans to 100%.
well as of last night, stable at 950/1900/2050 anything higher on the mem and it starts losing fps. I'm happy and will probably leave it like that for now.
Yeah I get that red light too in nbitor. I don't get it in fermibioseditor though.
