If you want detailed info there are lots of reviews at Geekhack. Some good. Some so-so on the Duckys.

Plus sales of Duckys haven't been too hot. The Ebay reseller has a feedback of 25.

Cannot say that I have. They seem decent. And I could even try for Filco on Amazon if desired. I hear both are great mechanical keyboards and Filco has been popular of course in part due to the crazy starcraft players in South Korea.

I was looking for a second full keyboard that could also serve as my wife's keyboard if appropriate. She tends to type fast and heavy, so kind of loud. I fear giving her blue switches (even though she does not game much) due to how much louder she could be. Although she loves my blue switches... sad face. At any rate, I am looking for brown as they are less noisy if you will and can still do good with typing. Not to mention I would like to try them myself.

if she types heavy, the only difference between you and her typing would be the fact that she bottoms out. if you feel that the amount of noise you would make on blue switches is acceptable, you could always get something with blue switches and do a soft-landing mod. (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?1...-for-Cherry-MX) i recommend using the o-rings for the mod. click to the last page of that thread and the part number is listed for mcmaster carr. i used both the o-rings and the firm soft-landing pads and i love it. key travel is reduced beyond the actuation point, and the bottoming-out sound is removed. which is the part that would be louder when a heavy typer (like myself, or your wife) is typing.
