I suppose, like I said more power to you if you don't get screwed over by overages but the way you made your statement as if your experience is that of everyone elses was ridiculous and the passive attitude just lets them think they can keep doing it.(which they no doubt will)

Yes I get your point, but where do I go from here? To virgin? I'll pass. Sprint? Oh yes because if you like outside their few 4G zones your speeds are awful. T-mobile? speed and reliability issues? Leaves you with Verizon and AT&T who have almost identical plans.
im not viewint this as an alternative provider option. It's seeing that at&t is doing nothing but gouging their customers, and thanks to good little sheep like you, they're getting away with it.

Yes there we go, degrade to insulting people because someone has a good plan and has received great service and will not leave that provider.

So you don't feel that at&t is gouging their customers for all they can? YOU were grandfathered into a decent plan, anyone newer is getting screwed.

I feel like the heavy users are getting screwed. I am not getting screwed. Neither are many other people who never hit their cap.

Now we can just say that Verizon and AT&T do this and that's because they are the biggest companies, and this is a free market, to a extent.

It's the principle of the matter though, they are essentially moving backwords when we should be moving forward. Even if it doesn't effect you it should still piss you off that they are doing it all the same.

Just wait--AT&T is cycling through the "grandfathered" plans, people who haven't renewed 1 or 2 year contracts, and other similar situations, and forcing new terms. Unless you're on a current 1 or 2 year contract that just hasn't ended, you'll be asked to renew your contract with their new terms. Happened to my sister and brother in law, following with a few friends.

If you thought about circumstances beyond how they affected you, and more to the general conduct of business, you might understand why people are so outraged. It's not because I'm upset at how AT&T treated me--to be honest, I was fine with their service, and never had a bad experience. I'm upset with how they now treat EVERYONE.

I'm so glad I switched to roadrunner last week. Although I feel that they are soon to follow the steps of AT&T if nothing is done about their cap.

just wait for someone to Bo*b their places and they will rethink what they are doing but before that point you just have to suffer ... or switch to someone else if you can.
