RAM for ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME

Thread Starter
The ram I have right now is:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231431

I bought it for my p8p67 deluxe mobo, but I returned it because it was not working properly so now I have the ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME mobo and althought the ram is still good, I'd like to have a new ram that could match with the motherboard aswell (black, red, etc) not blue...

Money is not an issue...

How are you using it if you returned it?

if money isnt the issue then you splurge some money on some nice red Corsair Dominator GT =)

Corsair Vengeance (black) or Dominator GT (Black/Red).

Well, the problem is that I'm using a Noctua NH-D14 and as far as I know the dominator GT r too tall (I was going to buy them at the first place)

CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory with Airflow Fan Model CMT8GX3M2A2000C9

OR

G.SKILL Ripjaws X + Turbulence II Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBXLD

Which one should I get? or is there a better one?

I'm not sure about the dominator GT, because from what I can see it has not been made specially for sandy bridge, and because it is a 2000mhz, and I'd have to underclock the memory to 1866mhz or overclock it to 2133mhz...

And with the G.SKILL ram it has been made for the p67 chipset already and its speed is at 2133mhz already too...

Both RAM's I posted earlier run at 1.65v and I've heard that the voltage may be too high for the sandy bridge processors.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231455

What about that one? it will look good with my motherboard and the specs are:

Capacity: 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Speed: DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)
Cas Latency: 9
Voltage: 1.5V
Multi-channel Kit: Dual Channel Kit
Timing: 9-10-9-28
